The Bible says that everyone has been given gifts, and that God desires
for us to use them to honor Him. A primary way we worship the Lord
is to give our gifts back to Him in service. God’s family
is like a puzzle, each member a piece of the whole - we each have
somewhere we fit.
When you think about it, what an incredible privilege to be counted
as one of God’s team members! Inside, we’ve listed a
variety of teams you can get involved in. Consider how one of WellSpring’s
ministry teams might be just where you fit in the family of God!
Worship Team
As a worship team, we have the honor of leading God's people into His presence through music. He's gifted us with abilities to play instruments and sing, and it's our gift back to Him when we worship. We believe that every believer is to express their worship as a part of their daily lifestyle, and purpose as a team to grow together, deepening our relationships with each other and our spiritual lives.

Creative Arts Team
We believe that when the gospel is presented in a relevant way that people can understand, they will respond. Art engages the emotional and intellectual sides, and when combined with the spoken message from God's Word, the impact is significantly greater. Using a variety including special music, signing, drama, painting, and many others, we purpose to use well the gifts and talents God has blessed our church family with.

Ushers Team
Our mission is to make people feel welcome and comfortable here at WellSpring. If we do our job well, it's likely that nobody will be aware of us. We care for the physical environment of the areas used on Sunday mornings, and seek to minimize distractions during service. Our heart is to serve God by serving His family.

Greeters Team
We make people feel welcome at church! By greeting each person with a smile and maybe a hug, we make a personal connection before service even begins. We also write name tags for everyone, which has been a key in allowing people to get to know one another, and to be at ease when they don't remember someone's name. We're the first people visitors encounter at WellSpring, and work to make a good impression.

Tech Team
The audio/visual teams play an integral role in worship, teaching of God's Word, and spreading information to our church family. Working behind the scenes together with the worship team, the pastor, and other teams, we increase the effectiveness of each ministry. Through sound and multimedia, we enhance the presentation of the gospel in order to draw people to Christ.

Maintenance Team
Part of using well what God has given us includes maintaining our church properties. We've been blessed with extensive facilities, and as a maintenance team, we are a blessing as we offer our skills and time in practical ways. We honor the Lord by practicing wise stewardship over the resources (people as well as facilities) that we have been given.

Office Volunteer Team
How rewarding it is to serve God by serving others in practical ways! Office volunteers are a key part of our ministry here at WellSpring, and all skill levels are welcome. Volunteers have done everything from answering phones and tearing apart name tags to graphic design for WellSpring publications. We enjoy a fun working environment as we meet some important needs of a healthy, growing church.

WellSpring's Wild Kingdom (Children's Ministries)
Our ministry for infants through 5th graders, WellSpring's Wild
Kingdom is staffed by fully trained, screened and supervised workers
who truly care about kids. Our purpose is to provide them with
a firm foundation in Christ, believing it is their best chance
to know Him and build an enduring relationship with Him. The Ark: infants through 3-year-olds
Each person serving in the nursery does so because we love children. Because we believe they are one of God's greatest gifts to us, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for them.

The Aquarium & The Jungle: 1st through 5th graders
Our heart's desire is to guide children in God's Word and teach

Youth
F.I.R.E. Squad, youths can expect to find fun, fellowship, and
excitement as well as a sense of belonging and purpose in the
Body of Christ. Adult sponsors are a key part of our ministry,
not just in organizing and overseeing events, but in personal
contact as they provide kids with real-life examples of what it
is to serve God.

Young Adults
Did you know that statistics show that 80% of young adults raised
in church leave the church within the first year of college? What
an overwhelming thought! Our Young Adults ministry exists to connect
each one personally with the Lord, so that the Holy Spirit would
lead and guide every decision they make.

Men's Ministries
The purpose of Men's Ministries at WellSpring is to provide men
with opportunities to build relationships. As iron sharpens iron,
so one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). Men need to eat,
talk, relax, play and pray together in settings beyond the Sunday
morning service. One of these gatherings is our quarterly breakfast,
featuring a time of worship together, encouragement from God's
Word, and time for prayer.

Women's Ministries
The heart of women's ministry is to encourage women to become who the Lord wants them to be. In the process, we build friendships that provide encouragement and support. We have Bible studies, share & prayer times, and seasonal events with guest speakers. Our ministry team coordinates these activities together.

Prayer Team
We're called to lift up prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving for everyone, especially those who serve in authority over us, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives (2 Timothy 2:1-2). We want our hearts to beat with the same rhythm as the heart of God. At WellSpring, we believe God is touching the world through each of us, one person at a time, and that prayer is the foundation of that work.

Drama Team
Drama adds another dimension to our worship services at WellSpring.
We invite someone to identify with a character, or open up through
laughter, and hear the message. It’s our goal to point people
to Christ, whether we’re on the stage, behind the scenes,
or simply living our lives. We welcome people of any age, any
skill level. Our workshops nurture acting skills and allow us
to grow together as a team.

Connecting
Ohana means family in Hawaiian. As the family of God we are always
wanting to include new people. This ministry is designed to help
new Christians or newer people to WellSpring find a place where
they fit. There's nothing like connecting with and serving along
side people you call friend.

Newly Marrieds
Bob and Paula have a great relationship. They have a lot to offer
couples who are starting their life together. Any marriage needs
ongoing attention and in our culture, where the divorce rate is
over 50%, newly married couples need people like Bob & Paula
in their corner. Our Newly Marrieds group meets once a month for
food, fellowship and a fruitful discussion that will help couples
have a stronger marriage.
